How to play

Goal

Make three sets from your 9 tiles before the CPU does. A match is four hands (East 1, East 2, South 1, South 2); the higher score wins.

Tiles

Each of the 18 countries has three tiles, numbered 1 to 3, showing its landmark. The colour tells the region. There are 3 copies of each tile and 8 Globes, which stand in for any tile.

Hands and dealer

The dealer alternates. If the dealer wins, or is one tile away when the wall runs out, the same hand is played once more (renchan). A tied match gets one extra hand.

Yaku and points

Every yaku the winning hand qualifies for adds up. The score is the points × 100, taken from the other player. Yakuman are worth 30 points each and replace all other yaku.
